Employees were evacuated Wednesday morning after a person called in a bomb threat to the Curtis Peterson Building in downtown.
A bomb threat was called into the Curtis Peterson Building in Lakeland Wednesday morning.
Employees were evacuated from the building after 9:30 a.m. when the threat was made, Lakeland police told the Lakeland Gazette.
Officers have begun checking the building to make sure it is safe for staff members in the building to return.
Information about who made the threat or why it was made has not been released.
