Lk. Miriam DRIVE should be renamed Lk. Miriam PARK- but don’t mention TRAFFIC.

How would you like to have 500 new neighbors in a 244 unit apartment project on that undeveloped lot in your subdivision next year?

Tell Lakeland City commissioners to VOTE to DENY on the zoning change that would allow such a debacle on the access road into Lk Miriam Plaza.  March 21 City Hall 3rd floor 9 am.

  1. Vote no on this change! Lake Miriam needs major overhauls before a project of any kind can be considered for that property. Developer or Publix who owns shopping center should pay for improvements to be made to lake Miriam drive between Cleveland Heights and Florida ave. Especially with pipkin rd corridor being four lanes. Our kids lives are at stake the school is unreachable and kids are forced to walk to other locations including Publix plaza to get picked up from school. A traffic study should be required during peak hours of 8 am to 9 am and 330 to 5 pm.
