We have a couple of new faces at the rescue. Say hello to the Powerpuff Girls–Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup. Two are calicos and one is a tortoiseshell kitty, about 4-5 months, and slightly underweight. They were part of a small but growing colony at a home in Seffner.
The homeowners had been petting the kittens while they were eating in hopes of socializing them for adoption. They did a great job as two of the trio are extremely social while one is just a little skittish but friendly. We’re working with the homeowners to trap the remainder of the colony for spaying/neutering. So far, five have been altered and there are about ten more to go. There are a couple more kittens who are quite social we are planning to help assist with rehoming. Right now, we could only make room for three and once these are adopted, we’ll bring in a couple more.
Since the girls are about 1-1.5lbs underweight, we’re going to give them the opportunity to gain a little before being placed up for adoption. If interested in either of these sweet girls, let us know.
