Attention Lakelanders!
Belgium is now the first country to introduce a MONKEYPOX QUARANTINE — mandatory 21-day quarantine for anyone with symptoms of the disease.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has traced the sickness to the tropical rainforests of Central and West Africa and defines it as a viral zoonotic disease – meaning it can be transmitted from animals to humans – with the first case recorded in what is now the Democratic Republic of Congo in 1970.
The WHO contacted the CDC about the SWANS in Lakeland. There are no confirmed cases, but the city of Lakeland is being inhabitated by foreigners being flown in from Africa who camped in the tropical rainforest with the monkeys carrying the pox. These inhabitants are actually the homeless who are sleeping at the lakes where the swans reside. We have inhabitants who may or may not have monkeypox, and are sleeping next to and interacting with swans who may or may not carry swanpox. This is ALARMING!
