The FBI still has its 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List, but the feds are looking for many more than that.
The agency has posted the names and photos of about 350 fugitives on its website, a collection too large to fit on a Post Office bulletin board. The suspects are accused of crimes including murder, human trafficking, and crimes against children.
In the category of “additional violent crimes,” an entry appears for a North Lakeland man who lived almost anonymously until last summer: Jonathan Daniel Pollock.
The posting includes a photo that has become familiar over the past year from news reports. The tightly cropped image shows Pollock — a lean, dark-haired man with a dense beard — gazing down with his mouth open in an apparent shout.
The image was taken just outside the U.S. Capitol building on Jan. 6, 2021, when Pollock joined a riot and assaulted multiple law-enforcement officers, according to the Justice Department.
While Pollock’s older sister, Olivia Pollock, and a group of relatives and friends are preparing for trials on related charges, Jonathan Pollock remains a fugitive one year after FBI agents raided the family property in the Kathleen area on June 30, 2021.
Pollock, 23, is one of at least three defendants indicted in the U.S. Capitol attack and officially listed as fugitives. One of the others reportedly fled to Belarus, and another was arrested but failed to show up for court hearings.
The FBI announced a $15,000 reward in March for information leading to Pollock’s arrest and conviction, an action that drew reporting from such outlets as CNN, Newsweek, the Epoch Times, and The Independent, a British online newspaper.
