Lily Burse works as the new Camping and Events Coordinator. Having just graduated from New College of Florida in Environmental Studies with a minor in Political Sciences. Lily also brings experience with working at museums as well. Lily expressed her passion for camping, hiking, and being outdoors. Lily is a Lakeland native and mentioned she would always watch the airshow as a kid, seeing it from her house as she lived so close by.
Her new position will help her ensure the camping and events run efficiently for year-round activities including the SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo. When asked about her goals for her new position she stated, “I want to help people have a good time at SUN ‘n FUN.” SUN ‘n FUN hosts approximately 3,000 campers throughout the six-day period of the event. This includes RV, Aircraft, and Tent camping. Our campers consist of paid guests, volunteers, exhibitors, and vendors who support event operations.
