If your cookies are your piece of cake, the Cookie Carnival on Oct. 7 is what you’ve been waiting for. As part of First Friday Downtown Lakeland, you can be a cookie creator and maybe even a sampler.
From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., downtown shops and restaurants stay open late, and there are goodies, giveaways, and discounts from local business exhibitors. The Makers Market features local artists and creators; Classy Car Show is on Main Street and you won’t be hungry with 20-plus food trucks there.
