Lakeland Fire Department recently hosted 4 Naval Sea Cadets Corps units at the Training Center for a day of skills and exercises that mimic what a firefighter’s job involves. #LFD #firefighters led the training for cadets ages 10-18 years. The Sea Cadet Program provides young individuals with the leadership skills needed to be successful in their future careers and life. Some of those leadership skills include discipline and self-reliance. The skills performed at Training Center instilled these core disciplines.
