On March 23, 2023, at 9:50 AM, FHP Troopers are searching for a green Toyota sedan which intentionally cut off a dump truck traveling southbound on I-75 near the 273 Milepost, just south of SR-56. The sedan entered the path of the dump truck, causing the dump truck driver to lose control of the vehicle.
The dump truck then rotated into the path of two other southbound tractor trailers, causing those vehicles to crash as well. No injuries were suffered by the commercial vehicle drivers during the crash which closed portions of I-75 until 11:40 AM.
