  1. Homeless does not excuse keeping clean & keeping area where you stay clean. Such a shame that so many homeless do not care!

    1. They’re nuts! Why do you think they’re homeless? Cleaning up after themselves isn’t really on the radar.

      1. So, you are saying that the woman with a Masters Degree is nuts? Do you even consider that she may just have fallen on hard times? Many of them have no choice

      2. Not true, I know alot of homeless people, they just like to stay to themselves. Some are very talented, they work. They just don’t want the stress of being in 4 walls . Yea some are druggies, drunks and crazy. But I know plenty who just stay to themselves

      3. I think your nuts some of the homeless are just out of jobs rent to high yes mental alcohol and drugs but a lot of thems are just down on there luck you could end up there also it happens so don’t judge to fast

  2. Break it down. 35 to 45 percent have mental health problems. 35 percent are strung out. About 10 percent are just worthless and 15 to 20 percent took a wrong turn in life and will do the work to get back. THIS NUMBER WOULD BE HIGHER IF MENTAL HEALTH WERE DEALT WITH.

  3. Danny Rawlings resided in a homeless camp in Gainesville for a time. There is a lot of alcoholism and drug addiction and mental health issues in homeless camps. Those are very dangerous places; dangerous people in desperate situations. Stay away. There are some people who appear very nice for a time but who don’t always act very nice.

  4. All the negative comments yet the fact remains who’s gonna try to solve the problem help the ones that can’t help themselves..obviously…there’s a cycle here??????

  5. I wonder if homeless people would clean up more of they were donated GARBAGE BAGS? We should all try it and see what happens.

  6. Yes, it’s true, some of them are just down, things happen. I was homeless, but I found a job, got on waiting list for housing and now I’m working and have own place, but I’ve tried to talk to some of them, told them if I can do it they can too. I’ve noticed some don’t want to!
