Meet Greyclyn -

Meet Greyclyn, a beautiful brown and white long-haired 6 year-old tabby. She was surrendered to us a couple months ago when the owners found out they were pregnant. The pregnancy was a high-risk one and their doctor advised them to re-home their cat. Since Greyclyn didn’t get along with the puppy, they decided to keep the puppy and give up their cat.

When we first received Greyclyn, she was totally bewildered as to where she was and very bitter and angry. She would lash out at us and hiss her displeasure with being left in an unfamiliar place and with faces she didn’t know. We had to wear gloves to pet her because she was so upset.

It has taken a little bit of time, but Greyclyn has eventually come around and now has her own little condo and a huge catio to lounge upon all day. She loves all the attention she gets from visitors and talks to everyone she meets. Although Greyclyn enjoys being petted and having her head scratched, she does have a limited attention span and is easily overstimulated. So, like other cats, she allows you a short window of time for petting and affection. Once she’s done, she done for the time being.

Greyclyn belongs in a one cat household where she can be the queen and get all the attention. We don’t feel she would do well with children or dogs. So, we’re looking for a quite home with a mature person or retired couple to dote on this beautiful girl.
