Legoland Florida is shutting down one of its long-running roller coasters next month.
The theme park announced Thursday that its Flying School attraction will close to “make way for future awesomeness.”
The last day to ride will be Aug. 16, which also happens to be National Roller Coaster Day.
Flying School — a steel, inverted, family coaster — has been around since the days of Cypress Gardens. The coaster opened in 2004 as Swamp Thing, but the name was changed in 2011 when the park became Legoland Florida.
The closure of Flying School will come a few days after Legoland wraps its summer block party festivities, which include a DJ dance party and photo ops with Shark Suit Guy.
