Polk County is closing Albritton Road in unincorporated Mulberry tomorrow, August 22, for 20 days to replace a failing metal end wall with a new concrete structure.
Endwall replacement is needed to fortify the roadway by anchoring the underlying drainage pipe to prevent erosion of the supporting embankment. A brief detour will bypass the work zone along Bethlehem Road or State Road 674 onto State Road 37 in this rural area of southwest Polk County.
