Philippe and Rina are both 45 mph tropical storms well east of the islands. Neither system will impact any land as they both turn to the north over the weekend and next week.
Philippe and Rina will “pinwheel” around each other. It’s known as the Fujiwara effect. (Named after the scientist who 1st noticed this phenomenon over 100 years ago) Always tricky to forecast, still limited or no impacts on the Caribbean islands and none on the US.
