Forty years ago, Captain Grady Judd and reporter Chris Hansen met when a Polk County man who was holding some hostages demanded to speak to the reporter so Capt. Judd asked Chris to help out. A few months later, they again collaborated to arrest a woman who was attempting to sell her baby. Both men went on to achieve great success, and they remain friends to this day.
