I have discovered something I didn’t know I was missing…Blavod Vodka! Blavod Vodka is black! And not only that but it is delicious. Blavod gets its eerie violet-black color from the extract of the acacia tree bark. And you don’t even have to trouble with boxing yourself up for the arduous journey to Transylvania to get it!
If you do not have this type of vodka available to you do not despair my bat-lings! You can use regular vodka combined with ½ teaspoon of activated charcoal powder. I think we are all aware of the many health benefit claims of ingesting activated charcoal but a word of caution. The way activated charcoal detoxes impurities, it can also detox you of things you do not intend…like prescription medications! My research suggests taking medications in the mourning before consuming charcoal in the evening.

Ingredients:
2 oz. Blavod Premium Black Vodka
1 oz. Chambord
2 oz. black cherry juice
Add all ingredients to a shaker of ice. Shake like you are waking the dead and strain into your chosen glass.
