Over the past several weeks, LPD officers and detectives conducted a proactive initiative focused on the most dangerous elements of our community: illegal firearms and drugs.
Endeavors resulted in 35 arrests for various crimes such as Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Firearm by a Delinquent Felon, Carrying a Concealed Firearm, Cocaine Possession, Fentanyl Possession, Methamphetamine Possession, Possession of Oxycodone, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell, Possession of Marijuana, and Arrest Warrants.
A total of 18 firearms were seized during these operations!
