Joining us Monday evening for Truck or Treat?

Here are a few things to know:
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT THE EVENT?
Kids will have the opportunity to meet police officers and firefighters, get an up close look at emergency vehicles, including fire engines and SWAT team equipment and trick-or-treat for candy and goodies.
WHAT TIME IS THE EVENT?
5PM – 8PM
WHERE IS THE EVENT?
Lakeland Fire Department Station 1 (701 E Main St) and the north shoreline of Lake Mirror. Road Closure of Main Street will begin at 3PM. The portion closing is just east of the entrance to the train station through to Rose Street.
*TRAFFIC REMINDER – A portion of East Orange Street from Iowa Avenue to South Lake Avenue is closed.
ANY SUGGESTIONS ON PARKING?
Public parking lots and garages will be open in Downtown during the event time. The Lakeland Electric Garage is open to the public after 5PM and the Summit Consulting garage is open to public parking after 6PM.

WHAT ABOUT COSTUMES?
YES! Costumes are highly encouraged! We can’t wait to see them all. If your child dresses as a first responder, stop by the information tent in the Fire Station parking lot to pick up a special token of appreciation.
DO KIDS NEED TO BRING A BAG FOR TRICK-OR-TREATING?
No, we’ve got you covered! At each entrance bags will be provided.
WILL IT BE CROWDED?
Although we have no way to know exactly how many treat seekers will show up, past events have been crowded. We have expanded the event area where we could near the C entrance to allow for more space.
We have 21 treat stops planned for this year.
***Note*** We have stocked up on lots of candy and goodies, but due to demand, please remember, goodies are first come first served, and while supplies last.
If you have any issues at the event, please flag down one of the volunteers wearing the bright blue event shirts to assist you.
