It’s been one year since 19-year-old Osbaldo Cuz-Xol was killed in a hit-and-run incident in Polk County, and officials are still looking for help trying to solve the case.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Investigations, Cuz-Xol is believed to have been killed between midnight and 10 a.m. on Nov. 2, 2022, after being struck by a vehicle on I-4 near mile marker 28.
Officials say the victim was last seen by family between 9:30 and 10 p.m. on Oct. 30, 2022, and the family reported him as a missing person the following day. Evidence found by officials indicates the vehicle involved may have been a Mazda SUV or a crossover, PCSO said.
