On Halloween, October 31, 2023, around 9:00 a.m., Diana Hernandez (46 years of age) attempted to TRICK our officer when the vehicle she was riding in was stopped in the 100 block of South Wabash Ave.
When asked to get out of the vehicle, Hernandez threw a bag containing 14.28 grams of methamphetamine and 7.49 grams of cannabis underneath the vehicle.
Hernandez had an active arrest warrant and was arrested.
Officers noticed the drugs under the vehicle and reviewed their in-car video system which showed Hernandez removing the bag from the front of her pants and throw it under the vehicle.
Instead of being TRICKED, our officers TREATED Hernandez to an arrest for Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Tampering with Evidence, Possession of Cannabis, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
