Imagine a world where creativity and sustainability collide. That’s exactly what happened at our 2024 ReEnergize Lakeland calendar contest, where local elementary school students unleashed their artistic talents to create masterpieces that will inspire us all. With over 700 entries, our judges had the difficult task of selecting the 13 winning art pieces that truly embodied the essence of ReEnergize Lakeland.
And now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived! Our Lakeland Electric employees, accompanied by our beloved mascot Wattson, are embarking on a special mission this week – to personally deliver the $100 cash prizes to these young artists who have captured our hearts and minds. Today, we awarded Grace, Highlands Grove Elementary School student. We are honored to support the brilliant minds of our community’s future through the power of education.
