Joe G. Tedder, Tax Collector for Polk County – Bartow (unofficial) #animalrescue team took quick action yet AGAIN at our #Bartow Service Center, to help save ‘Buddy the Squirrel Elf’!
This tiny little flying squirrel was discovered shivering on the sidewalk when Clifton (right) just happened to find him while on his afternoon walk. Jenna (center) made all the arrangements for him to be comfortably taken into care by Shania’s (left) family! They’ve rehabilitated many squirrels and newborn animals! Our best guess is that he’s only a few days old – less than a week.
After the rescue yesterday, we got a good report this morning! Buddy is doing well, and eating. How’s that for a #FeelGoodFriday?!
