UPDATE: Just after 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, PCSO deputies and detectives, working with the Winter Haven Police Department, took murder suspect Enrique Martinez into custody in the area of Cooley Road and SR 540 (Winter Lake Road) in Winter Haven. Here he is being transported to the Polk County Jail. Enrique has a warrant for first-degree murder in the November 2023 homicide of Edil Rodriguez, Jr., and is also a suspect in the murder of Sierra Hernandez that occurred during the early part of January 2024.
Sheriff Grady Judd is giving an update on the search for Enrique Martinez. He had a first-degree murder warrant for killing Edil Rodriguez, Jr. in Nov. 2023, and is wanted in the death of Sierra Hernandez in Jan. 2024.
