A semi-truck is left hanging off the side of an overpass after a crash Wednesday evening in Polk County.

The Florida Highway Patrol says it was called around 6:20 p.m. to a crash on Polk Parkway East at Exit 18: Old Dixie Highway.
All lanes of Polk Parkway East (State Road 570) remain closed in that area. Drivers should find an alternate route.
Troopers said there were injuries reported, but did not say how many people were hurt. It’s also not clear what caused the crash.
