Lakeland International Airport (LAL) is currently working on the development of a large aircraft maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) facility and medevac helicopter facility planned for the northeast quadrant of the airport off Drane Field Road. The City of Lakeland has retained the services of Environmental Science Associates (ESA) in assisting with the environmental review of the site.
The City of Lakeland invites you to attend a public meeting on the new development that will be held on Tuesday June 25, 2024, between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Lakeland Linder International Airport terminal building, located at 3900 Don Emerson Drive Lakeland, FL 33811.
Please stop by during this time to learn more about the planning process, review the proposed project, and speak with the airport staff and consultants. Participants will have the ability to register comments regarding the proposed development via a comment card at the public meeting or email to [email protected]. Comments will be received by the airport until Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 5 p.m.
