I know that this book came out a few years ago, but it is one of my all time favorites!! This was my first foray into adult thrillers, and I have to say it will not be my last. This book kept me on the edge of my seat, wondering if Grace and her sister were going to survive. This book is dark and scary to say the least. You really keep hoping that someone steps in but no one ever does. Will they survive Grace’s abusive husband, or will he get his hands on what he is really after? You find out in this debut thriller by author B.A. Paris. I will be snagging every other title I can from her from Inklings Book Shoppe ASAP!! Because this was A+ gold!
