We chose this book for Sunday bookclub but also for a later date for our Tuesday bookclub because it is only around a 100 pages long. But surprisingly (and delightfully) this book does not feel too short! We get around 50 pages of emails going back and forth with the characters, then a fully-formed, fast-paced, super cute romance. The story weaved the characters together so that once they finally grow up and meet, you can’t help but root for them. The Exception to the Rule is a no-spice romance that had me on the edge of my seat while I was flipping each page. I could not put it down and neither will you!! If you are looking for a fast-paced, cute romcom, you can’t go wrong with this one.
