I am making you aware as a concerned citizen that it is being reported that after all the news media of the prior weeks, animal control is going back to business as usual.
A reporter for our group confirmed that the cats no longer have the fans placed while people were going into the shelter to pull cats out on the prior weekends. I was there when the fans were present.
Today the fans are not there and the heat index is up. We cannot allow animal control to think that because no one is looking, they can return to doing what they were doing before.
Please raise awareness of this issue and help us help these cats. Nothing deserves to die of heat exhaustion.
