The Polk County Supervisor of Elections is partnering with local organizations to join in a nationwide effort to register voters on Tuesday, September 17th in celebration of National Voter Registration Day. Delta Sorority, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, and the League of Women Voters will be joining Supervisor of Elections staff in voter registration drives at five locations around Polk County.
“New voters will have the opportunity to register to vote, and current voters will be able to update their record if they have moved or changed their name,” explained Supervisor of Elections Lori Edwards.
October 7th is the deadline to register to vote in the November 5th General Election.
Voter registration services will be available at the following locations:
10:00 am – 12:00 pm Polk State College (WH Campus) 999 Avenue H NE, WH 33881
11:00 am – 1:00 pm Webber International University 1201 N Scenic Hwy, Babson Park 33827
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm Polk State College (LK Campus) 3425 Winter Lake Rd, LK 33803
