The holidays keep coming earlier, but we’re not complaining. Especially when Publix releases its seasonal ice cream flavors in stores around the country.
This year’s eight-flavor line-up is made up of old favorites, revisiting us just like Santa’s eight trusty reindeer do each year. Some ice cream flavors feature warm fall spices you can relish for months (but go ahead and indulge in Eggnog now if you want—no one’s judging). These limited edition flavors are available in half gallons while supplies last:
- Snickerdoodle: Publix’s most recent hit flavor dates from 2020. The brown-butter ice cream is swirled with cinnamon graham crumbs and cookies.
- Marshmallow Candy Cane & Cookie Blast: Right behind it, this 2019 flavor features marshmallow ice cream, crushed candy cane, and a chocolate-cookie swirl.
- Deep Dish Apple Pie: Suitable for Thanksgiving or any old fall day, this apple-flavored ice cream is swirled with brown sugar-cinnamon, apple chunks, and sugar-rolled pie crust.
- Pumpkin Pie: Why not skip the baking at the holidays and serve up pumpkin pie-flavored ice cream swirled with whipped cream and piecrust pieces?
- Caramel Mountain Tracks: This old favorite sounds perfect for after a long hike in the mountains. The coffee ice cream has ribbons of Mackinac caramel, praline pecans, and caramel turtles.
- Santa’s White Christmas: This flavor features cocoa espresso flakes and Barnie’s Santa’s White Christmas coffee, which has notes of vanilla, coconut, and caramel.
- Eggnog: With us since 1992, the rich eggnog-flavored ice cream has “a kiss of nutmeg.”
- Peppermint Stick: Publix’s oldest reintroduced flavor has graced our ice cream bowls since 1983. Sometimes we like to keep it classic and simple: vanilla and peppermint candy.
