After zooming through The Housemaid in just over 2 hours. I had to pick up book two, The Housemaid’s Secret. We get a time jump of a few years as Millie is now 30 years old. She is trying to survive going back to school and just living her life without trying to save anyone but herself. But we all know something is going to happen to make that impossible. This was another edge-of-your-seat thriller that if you think you know what is going to happen, you would be wrong. I have always been able to figure out what was going on before it was revealed, so these were a nice escape from knowing. This one kept me on my toes as the story progressed, and I was so surprised about the ending.
