Sadly, retired police K9 Scotty passed away this past week. K9 Scotty was the loyal partner of Officer Virgil Cardin and served the Lakeland Community from early 2015 until September 2020, when the duo retired. During his service, he was also a member of our Champion Patrol Dog Teams.
Affectionately known for his sweet demeanor and cute long ears,
Scotty was loved by so many. Our thoughts and prayers are with Officer Cardin and his family.
