The Lakeland City Commission could vote on whether to remove fluoride from the city’s water system during its meeting Monday.
The city of Lakeland added fluoride to its drinking water in 1981 as a way to prevent cavities.
Possibly removing fluoride is the last item on Monday’s agenda.
