A couple from Dunlap, TN, was arrested in Florida after deputies found their car to have been stolen out of Hamilton County.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office in Florida located a Nissan in Mulberry, FL on March 14.
Aaron Waters, 40, and Brooke Leon, 35, were in the vehicle reported stolen to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies found Leon had two active warrants out of Tennessee, but “the state will not have her extradited,” said the police department.
“Brooke was not off the hook though. She and Aaron were #ArrestedByThePolkCountySheriffsOffice and we welcomed our Tennessee couple as guests at Grady Judd’s Bed & Breakfast with charges for Motor Vehicle Theft and Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia”, stated Sheriff Judd.
