Avelo Airlines has announced it will discontinue three routes starting April 28, 2025, due to low demand,
The cuts include nonstop service from Hartford’s Bradley International Airport (BDL) to Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB), which began last November, and flights between Lakeland Linder International Airport (LAL) in Florida and Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) in New Hampshire, which started in October.
Additionally, Avelo will cancel its upcoming service from BDL to Concord-Padgett Regional Airport (USA) in North Carolina, which was set to launch in early April.
According to The Points Guy, Avelo cited low demand for the routes as the reason behind the changes, which allow the airline to better utilize its aircraft on more profitable routes.
I don’t feel a fellow advertised there flights from BDL to Concord pageant airport in North Carolina. It is a very convenient flight. Why don’t they just have a limited flight for example leaving on Thursday returning on Monday one flight per week. Avelo advertise they were canceling it before it really had an opportunity to let people know it was even being offered. Better advertising would help because Avelo is an excellent airline. And their access to smaller airports is very beneficial.
