Back in April 2024, a live-in caregiver named Terell Febo was hired to assist an elderly resident in Polk County. Just three weeks into the job, Terell allegedly quit without notice, packed his bags, and disappeared — and so did a stash of medical marijuana.
According to the report, the family noticed the missing marijuana after doing an inventory of the home. The only other person with access to that room? Terell.
Things got even more suspicious when the family recalled that Terell had texted about “cleaning the room” just days before quitting — something they say he never did before.
A sworn statement was taken, and a warrant was issued for Grand Theft of a Controlled Substance on May 28, 2024. It took nearly a year to track him down, but that warrant was served on April 15, 2025.
