The Lakeland City Commission considered a zoning change that will allow Inklings Book Shoppe to move from its current location, downtown, to 737 S. Missouri Ave., across the street from Hillcrest Coffee, in Dixieland.
The commission approved it unanimously.
Inklings owners Finley and Carmen Walker have said they hope to reopen in Dixieland by July 1.
