State Rep. Jennifer Canady, R-Lakeland, will offer monthly mobile office hours to expand constituent services and make it easier for residents to connect directly with her office.
Beginning in January, mobile office hours will be held on the third Wednesday of each month at the Lakeland Public Library, 100 Lake Morton Drive. Constituents are invited to stop by to discuss legislative issues, receive assistance with state agencies or share ideas that can help strengthen the community, Canady’s office said in a news release.
Members of Canady’s district staff will be available to assist with issues related to state services, including unemployment, professional licensing, veterans’ benefits, child and family services, transportation matters and more, the release said.
The mobile office hours are 10 a.m. to noon on the third Wednesday of each month. No appointment is necessary, and walk-ins are welcome. For additional information, contact the district office at 863-450-4795 or write to Rep. Canady at [email protected].
