Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has reappointed Ashley Bell Barnett of Winter Haven to the Board of Governors of the State University System.
DeSantis first appointed Barnett to the board in November 2023. Her term expired Jan. 6. She also serves on the Polk State College District Board of Trustees and the board of the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
Barnett holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida Southern College and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of South Florida.
