The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) announced Wednesday the arrest of a 14-year-old suspect from Wimauma on terrorism and child pornography charges.

According to HCSO, authorities received a tip on Jan. 31 about Jose Pagan Jr., claiming the teen had access to weapons and was planning to conduct a mass shooting at a church near his home in Wimauma.
Pagan was also allegedly engaged in an online chat room for violent extremists. Sheriff Chad Chronister said he discussed shooting up a nearby church in Wimauma, but did not specify which one.
HCSO also determined Pagan was possibly connected to an active HCSO child pornography investigation.
After executing a search warrant for the home, investigators found multiple firearms, ammunition, and electronic devices containing child sexual abuse material involving infants.

“Images too graphic and too disturbing too discuss because they would keep all of you up at night,” Sheriff Chronister said.
He was then charged and arrested.
“The age of the individual involved does not lessen the seriousness of these crimes,” said Sheriff Chronister. “Threats of mass violence and the exploitation of children demand immediate action, and we will always move swiftly to protect lives and hold those responsible accountable.”
Pagan faces the following charges:
- written or electronic threat to conduct a mass shooting or act of terrorism
- in state transmission of child pornography by electronic device
- solicitation or possession of child pornography 10 or more images and content of images (14 counts)
- unlawful use of two-way communications device (2 counts)
Sheriff Chronister said he expected additional charges to be filed as the investigation continues.
Neo-Nazi Satanism
Neo-Nazi Satanism, exemplified by groups like the Order of Nine Angles (O9A), blends far-right extremism with esoteric, left-hand path ideologies. These groups, often originating in the UK or New Zealand, promote radical, accelerationist ideologies, sometimes incorporating Hermetic or pagan elements. Key figures, such as those associated with the O9A, have been linked to neo-Nazi activism since the 1970s.
- Order of Nine Angles (O9A): An international network founded in the 1960s/70s, known for promoting neo-Nazi, accelerationist ideologies.
- Black Order: Described as a “National Socialist-oriented Satanist mail order ministry,” formerly based in New Zealand.
- Ideology: These groups often focus on “Traditional Satanism,” combining esoteric beliefs with a far-right, racist, and often violent political agenda.
Key Organizations and Beliefs
- Order of Nine Angles (O9A or ONA): The most prominent group in this milieu, founded in the UK in the 1970s. It promotes the “Seven-Fold Way,” a path requiring followers to break social taboos through acts like crime, infiltration of the military (referred to as “insight roles”), and in some texts, ritual sacrifice.
- 764 and NLM (No Lives Matter): Decentralized online networks that emerged recently (around 2021), targeting younger audiences through “edgy” aesthetics and promoting extreme violence, self-harm, and child exploitation.
- Tempel ov Blood (ToB): A US-based O9A-affiliated group that influenced the Atomwaffen Division (AWD), a now-disbanded terrorist group linked to multiple murders.
Recent Developments (as of February 2026)
- Florida Church Plot: On February 4, 2026, authorities in Hillsborough County, Florida, arrested a 14-year-old linked to a “neo-Nazi satanic hate group” known as the Temple of Love. The teen was allegedly planning a mass shooting at a church in Wimauma and was found in possession of firearms and child sexual abuse material.
- International Bans: The Order of Nine Angles was officially designated as a terrorist organization in New Zealand in 2025. In Russia, O9A texts were banned from distribution in 2024 following a court order in St. Petersburg.
- New Groups: A new group called Milikolosskrieg (meaning “military war”) was identified in southwestern Germany in mid-2025, using O9A-style aesthetics to recruit children as young as 12 for “accelerationist” terror activity.
Common Characteristics
- Transgression: They celebrate figures like murderer Ian Brady as individuals who operated outside “normal” moral boundaries.
- Violence and Exploitation: Groups like “RapeWaffen” explicitly promote sexual violence and rape as a means to undermine civilization.
- Decentralization: These movements typically lack a central hierarchy, operating instead through clandestine cells (called “nexions”) or anonymous online chat rooms.
