A tragic multi-vehicle accident in Winter Haven has claimed the life of 23-year-old Bryson Love. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) is currently investigating the crash, which occurred on the evening of Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
Crash Details
According to investigators, the incident began shortly after 7:00 p.m. near the intersection of 3rd Street SW and Avenue G SW.
- Initial Collision: A woman driving a 2025 Nissan Rogue was traveling northbound when she reportedly struck the front of a Ford pickup truck while attempting to change lanes.
- The Head-On Strike: The impact caused the Nissan to cross over the median and into the oncoming southbound lanes, where it collided head-on with Bryson Love’s motorcycle.
- Fatal Injuries: Despite wearing a helmet, Love was ejected from his motorcycle and suffered extensive trauma. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Investigation
The driver of the Nissan, who was reportedly returning home from church, told deputies she “felt a bump” before losing control of her vehicle. After the collision with the motorcycle, her car continued northbound, striking several curbs before coming to a stop after a low-speed impact with a BMW.+1
