Honored to attend yesterday morning’s 13th Annual Lakeland City Commission SUN ’n FUN Breakfast, celebrating the 52nd year of SUN ’n FUN right here in Lakeland.
This incredible organization continues to inspire the next generation of aviation leaders through the Central Florida Aerospace Academy, scholarships, and programs that invest directly in young people and their future.
It was also an honor to hear from Col. Mark W. Tillman, USAF (Ret.), the 12th Presidential Pilot who flew Air Force One for President George W. Bush. His firsthand account of September 11 and the responsibility of protecting the President and crew was powerful and unforgettable.
Grateful for the opportunity to serve the City of Lakeland and to work alongside so many leaders who help make our community so special.
