Avelo Airlines announced commercial air service at McKinney National Airport (DTX)—located just north of Dallas in Collin County—marking the airport’s first-ever scheduled passenger service.
Beginning in November 2026, the airline will connect the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex to these four Florida airports:
- Orlando International Airport (MCO)
- Tampa International Airport (TPA)
- Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL)
- Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers
Alongside the Florida routes, Avelo is also launching flights from McKinney to Las Vegas (LAS). The service will roll out in phases starting November 11, 2026, utilizing 184-seat Boeing Next-Generation 737-800 aircraft.
