Miki Sudo of Tampa, Florida, won her 12th Nathan’s hot dog eating contest on July 4

She did indeed! On a sweltering day in Coney Island, Miki Sudo absolutely dominated the women’s division yet again, putting away 38.75 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes to secure her 12th Pink Belt.

Despite the intense 90°F+ heat and heavy humidity affecting the consistency of the buns, she comfortably outpaced runner-up Michelle Lesco, who finished with 22. With this win, Sudo remains completely undefeated in every Nathan’s contest she has ever entered since her 2014 debut (only missing 2021 due to her pregnancy).

It was a big day for competitive eating’s power couple, too—her husband, Nick Wehry, competed in the men’s division right after her, hitting a personal best of 45.5 hot dogs to finish fourth behind Joey Chestnut, who reclaimed his title with 66.
