Lakeland, FL (August 4, 2026) | The City of Lakeland Water Utilities Department will begin overnight sewer rehabilitation work near the intersection of Wabash Avenue and George Jenkins Boulevard on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
To safely complete the work, Wabash Avenue will be closed on the north side of the George Jenkins Boulevard intersection from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Lane closures and detour signage will be in place throughout the work zone.
