AIDS Memorial Quilt to Feature at Rainbow Roots Festival

The 2nd Annual Rainbow Roots Festival hosted by the Rose Dynasty Foundation Inc. will feature a display of the AIDS Memorial Quilt, marking the quilt’s return to Polk County for the first time in over 20 years.

Highlights & Key Information

  • AIDS Memorial Quilt Return: First displayed in Polk County in 1989 at the Polk Museum of Art, sections of the iconic tribute return to honor those lost to HIV/AIDS and raise community awareness. Following the festival, portions of the quilt will also be displayed at the Rose Dynasty Center.
