Lakeland High School students’ art is coming to your mailbox soon!

Ivana Torres’ piece “Blossoms and Birdsong” will be printed onto the back of your property tax bill’s envelope this Fall – as part of our KIDS TAX ART scholarship contest – proving that even something like the tax bill can be a canvas for creativity!

Such a wonderful group of high school art students submitted their art as entries in this contest last Spring… and thanks to our sponsor, Southern Homes, Ivana receives a $2,500 scholarship! Her art teacher, Mrs. Jones, also receives a $500 prize. ALL of this comes at NO cost to the Tax Collector’s Office (no cost to taxpayers). We’re very excited to put this personal touch on public service, and we hope you enjoy!
