The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is on scene of a fatal hit-and-run in Lakeland Sunday morning.
At this time the sheriff’s office says all of US Highway 92 westbound is shut down from Saddle Creek Road to Reynolds Road.
Deputies are redirecting traffic, and are advising motorists to use an alternate route until further notice.
