The Southeastern University women’s golf team maintained their presence in the NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. The Fire stayed at No. 22 in the latest installment of the national ranking.
SEU finished the fall portion of its season with a first-place team finish at the Dave Adamonis Invitational at Trump National in Doral.
Southeastern shot a 54-hole score of 934, its best of the year, opening with its best 18-hole score of the season with a 306.
Fellow Sun Conference member SCAD (Savannah) rose one spot to No. 2 in the poll, while Keiser fell two places to No. 3.
USCB climbed eight spots to come in at No. 15, while Coastal Georgia appeared in the receiving votes section of the ranking.
The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences.
The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each voter ranks the best teams. A team receives 25 points for each first-place vote, 24 for second-place and so on through the list.
