The Southeastern University women’s cross country team maintained its NAIA Top 10 ranking after winning The Sun Conference Championship on Saturday.
SEU is eighth for the second consecutive ranking, voted on by a panel of head coaches representing each conference.
This matches the program’s all-time high ranking in the coaches’ poll.
The Fire had eight finishers in the top 15 in the conference championship with sophomore Julia Rohm earning First-Team All-Sun Conference honors with a school-record time of 18:06 and junior Raeanna Pabon also on the first time in a time of 18:53 to place fifth.
The national championship race will take place on November 22nd at Fort Vancouver State Park in Vancouver, Wash.
